The movie is about a happy to help singh innocently causing more damage than help who the village decides to get rid off by funding his travel abroad to get a famous don back to his parents in the village.

One key requirement to watch this movie is to leave your expectations for logic, story, romance, and other bollywood masala at home and then buy a ticket. Having done this,the movie does not offer any outstanding, out of the world comedy, but normal ones – can laugh once type. It is not worth a high cost multiplex weekend ticket, but definitely worth a shared dvd watch!!.

The songs are not too great (not near the expected standards from Pritam) except singh is king which has more sunk into the people cos of the publicity around it.

The positives of the movie are the respect to Indian Value systems it potrays and its ability to hold the audience till the end not because of the way the scenes are knitted together, but more because the variety of entertainment in the individual scenes. At times, it did feel like a live version of laughter challenge initial rounds where people try their luck with comedy sometimes bringing a smile on our face, sometimes breaking us into laughter, sometimes leaving only siddhu laughing for the money he is paid for laughing at these humourless jokes.

Overall, as a wholesome entertainer, i rate the movie 2.5 on 5 and definitely a one time – timepass watch!!
