Charandas is a wrestler with Ustad Mastram Pahelwan, who lives a poor lifestyle in a small town in India with his elder brother and sister-in-law. One day, Charandas meets with a school student, Chameli, daughter of a low caste coal merchant. Charandas and Chameli both fall madly in love with each other and go on dates, exchange love letters which provokes her father Kallumal. Champa, her mother takes help of her brother Chaganlal, to arrange Chameli’s marriage with Advocate Makhan, son of Lachuram who is of their caste. These events take hillarious twists and turns, and meanwhile Charandas must now decide whether he should abduct his future wife Chameli amidst of all the happenings around……..
